Gerald Benney was one of the most outstanding and influential British silvermiths of the second half of the 20th century. During a career spanning more than 50 years, he became a Royal Designer and was the first British craftsman to hold four Royal Warrants simultaneously. His designs have strength and dignity, an aura of splendour but without ostentation.
From 1957 to 1969 he was consultant designer to Viners, designing silver and stainless steel cutlery. The original Love Story was one of his creations and due to popular demand we have re-created it with a modern twist.
Love Story would make an ideal wedding, anniversary or engagement gift or simply because you love it and want to treat yourself.It is finished in high quality 18/10 stainless steel, is dishwasher safe and guaranteed for 25 years, making it perfect for every day use or for those special occasions.
