Manufactured from hard anodised aluminium, these round cake tins are twice as strong as stainless steel. As well as being strong, aluminium is one of the most efficient conductors of heat, allowing perfect cooking control for professional results every time, with no ‘hot spots’.
Most non stick coatings will scratch quite easily and then will start to peel and flake off...and deteriorate... Hard Anodising doesn't, in fact, the more you use it, the better it gets - it develops a 'patina' which becomes more and more non stick with use. You can use metal spoons and slices on the surface without fear of damaging it too - so it will outlive and outperform most other types of bakeware.
Hard anodised products should always be washed by hand in mild detergent - they don't like any caustic solutions such as dishwasher solutions or power sprays... any stubborn food deposits can be removed easily by being left to soak in hot soapy water.
