This chic doormat is made from natural coconut fibres called coir.
The coconut growers on the coast of southern India use every part of the coconut so that virtually nothing goes to waste.
The husks are first "seasoned in the lagoons off the coast, then each husk is beaten by hand to extract the fibre, this fibre is then woven into the doormat and then stenciled with the Home Sweet Home design.
